A Smaller Page...

Hello everyone!

This is my first 8.5 x 11" page I did for our Basically Bare and Nikki Sivils swap. Though I still am more comfortable with 12 x 12s I liked how the smaller paper seemed help keep the focus on the photo. What do you think?

Fanciful Frames from Basically Bare painted in Distress Crackle Paint Picket Fence

I got to work with the Audrey colllection from Nikki Sivils and the designs were so girly and sweet I immediately thought of this picture! I kept the design simple, used the fabulous Fanciful Frames from Basically Bare and just filled in the top and bottom edges. Here's some close ups:

  2. I love the random doodling on the page- the pink paint looks fantastic on the red background. LOVE those frames! Great idea to add the crackle paint to them. That is a wonderful shot to scrap- she is such a cutie!!!

    P/s: Sometimes I like to work on an A4 format too...it's a nice change and an added challenge! ;)

  4. Wonderful colour!! Love how you used those frames that photo is darling :) I designed ONE 8.5 x 11 page for a magazine cover and I found it excruciating! lol! I really struggled with the smaller canvas, but you aced it!
