Thank You Faber Castell and a Mini

Hello everyone!

I just want to remind you all that I've still got a giveaway going on here until January 10. I'll pick a winner on January 11th!

The first "real" week of 2013 has arrived in our household...my oldest has returned to school, hubby is fully entrenched in what he fondly calls "hell" week and the Christmas tree is coming down...ah well, all holidays and vacations must eventually come to an end.

And sadly my GDT position with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft has also come to an end. Thank you Faber Castell for the wonderful opportunity, I loved working with your products! My last project to share with you is a mini book...a first for me! I've got the step by step posted on Faber Castell Design Memory Craft's blog. And I'll admit, the task of making a mini wasn't nearly as difficult as I worried it would be once I applied my "formula" to each page! I'm thinking there's going to be some more minis in my future!

Here's a look at some of the pages...

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

  5. Stunning!!! I love how you used blue as your base! Great photos as well. I also tend to think minis are hard- I'm still working on my DD because it's literally the last thing I get to at the end of the day- I love how the small format allows you to focus on detail without taking up hours of time. I'm sorry to hear your DT term is up but maybe I'll see your work for another team soon!

  6. Your mini-album is absolutely gorgeous. I am loving your style and all of your amazing details. And I laughed because we always dread the day we take down the Christmas tree and decorations, which is coming up this weekend. OH NO!!!!!
