Hello everyone!
It's been a little quiet here on my blog and my life is experiencing a quiet lull too. And you know what? That's OK, I'm enjoying the respite!
Today I'm sharing with you a page I made as a guest designer over at Scrap Friends for their Sketch Challenge #11. I absolutely loved playing along...the sketches are so enticing! Maybe you'll come play along too?
My eldest daughter and her closest friend now live on the opposite ends of the country from each other but that won't stop them from seeing each other if the moms have anything to do to do with it! Here they are hanging out for a summer's week.

I've been using my Silhouette a lot lately and loving it! Airplane and clouds all cut with my Sil followed by and little painting and doodling...

ReplyDeleteHi Miae - I'm about to put my LO up for the SF challenge...& I like to 'share the love'...so I'm featuring this on mine - I just LOVED it the moment I saw it - such a clever interpretation. Just as well you're GD, or you'd probably win the challenge...LOL...&, as an odd twist of fate - my DS is leaving tomorrow for San Francisco [we're in OZ] to work on an island somewhere nr Oaklands on the Artemis America's Cup challenge yacht...small world, eh???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just been looking up transport links from airports...he's not worried - doesn't want to know - says that's part of the adventure...but I'm checking out BART & ferries....I have no idea WHERE he's staying, or how much time he'll have off - I suspect he'll be working his pants off...but if you don't mind sending me your email, I can pass it onto him. It would make ME feel good to know there's another Aussie around the corner at the very least -with a beer in the fridge! My email is on this comment:):) He's a nice kid [have to say that!!!]....well, not a kid - he's 24....well, he's MY kid...oh - I've lost it. Big day in Sydney. Can't handle going down there these days:):):)

WOW there are so many awesome things about your page that i love... especially at the top of the page that sky scene is awesome...then moving down to all those layers of assorted mediums... i LOVE that!
