Live in Full Color Canvas - TCW & SKW Blog Hop!

Hello there,

This week at The Crafter's Workshop we are having a blog hop with Susan K. Weckesser! There'll be prizes, tutorials, inspiration galore so come join us for the week!

I'm up today and I've done something a little different from my usual layouts. I made a canvas! The idea has been brewing in my head for some time and using the Susan K. Weckesser papers were just perfect!

Here's a few close ups:

However, if you want the how to's for this page, please head on over to The Crafter's Workshop!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Made a Little Canvas

Hi everyone!

Before I enter into a tryptophan stupor from all the turkey tomorrow I thought I'd quickly share another project I made for Gauche Alchemy with their Dia de los Muertos kit.

Stone skulls, ephemera paper for the hearts, braille paper for the wedding gown, washi tape,
background skull stamp, and Crafter's Workshop mask all courtesy of Gauche Alchemy's kit!

The holiday is past but I'll have a little something to put up for the special day next year! I loved working with  those stone skulls and that mask!

I got heavy handed on the heavy gel medium and Distress Crackle paint and though it took FOREVER and then some, to dry, I'm loving the result! Aren't they a cute couple ;)

OK, that's all for now! Have a wonderful rest of the week however you decide to celebrate!
